The room service was quite good value and was delivered by a very polite and friendly lady
Check in was the most unwelcoming experience, the receptionist barely made eye contact let alone crack a smile. The room constantly smelled of sewage and the design of the separate toilet with an inwards opening door meant lots of strange manoeuvres

Everything was brand-new, so were decent views over the marina. We ate at a super restaurant for dinner. The breakfast had lots of food, like fresh fruit, pastries and bacon. The location was marvellous and lovely for walking around Emirates Air Line.

Breakfast selections are plentiful and of good quality. Unfortunately, the shower had some lime scale buildup, and there was a bit of mold in the bathroom that needs attention. The overall atmosphere is cute and vibrant, particularly in the bar area.

A sumptuous and tasty breakfast buffet, beautiful terrace with a view of the dock with water sports, beautiful walks along the water and across the pedestrian bridge, short distances to public transport including the "Emirates cable car". Everything perfectly clean and very friendly, helpful staff.
Aircraft noise from starting planes, but that's just the way it is in the big city. Otherwise quiet and contemplatively situated, away from the usual hustle and bustle of the big city, like an oasis.

Oh, the culinary delights nearby! The Lands End Restaurant was a total gem, and the Airline Cafe & Diner served a cracking breakfast. Plus, I was thrilled with my room upgrade to an executive suite-spacious and comfy! It made my Comic Con adventure even better with fab staff were pretty good.
While there appeared to be an air conditioning dial, there were no instructions on how it worked, and the room still felt a bit warm, even with the window open. Paying nearly £500 for two nights felt a touch steep, especially during Comic Con madness.

Beautiful spacious and clean room, good beds. Right next to the DLR station custom house for Excel. Short walk (5 minutes) to the Emirates cable car. Bathroom was also beautiful and for London standards very spacious. Nice breakfast. The evening meal at the restaurant and the stone oven pizzas they deliver to the room also looked delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Have to go to London again this year and will definitely stay here again.
From London Heathrow it's quite long before you get there. From London City you're there very quickly. Please note: from December 2018 the Elisabeth line will run and then you are within 45 minutes of Heathrow at the hotel.

The hotel is super convenient, and our room was clean with comfy beds. Breakfast was decent, and it's nice to have a late bar. Perfect for our trip!
The room lacked clear air conditioning instructions, leaving us a bit warm despite our efforts to cool it down. This was a bit uncomfortable after long days out.
